Often the role of marketing is hindsight to the production of the film. Marketing and positioning the film for sale is imperative and should be included in the beginning of the production process. Tracy fills a unique niche for independent filmmakers, strategizing and implementing custom marketing programs while acting as film publicist – generally jobs held by two people.
